Cinnamon Maple Pear Baked Oatmeal
Soft baked oats with pears, maple, and enough cinnamon to make the whole kitchen smell right.
Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly butter an 8-inch square baking dish.
- 2
In a large bowl, stir together the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- 3
Add the diced pears and toss so they are coated in the oat mixture.
- 4
In a second bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, maple syrup, melted butter or coconut oil, and vanilla.
- 5
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir well, then scrape everything into the prepared baking dish.
- 6
Top with chopped pecans if using and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
- 7
Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before spooning into bowls.
